I don't know how easy it would be to find a place that folks from CA, Las Vegas, TX, and VA would all want to meet. Personally my tow vehicle is not something I want to take much more than 400 miles.
As far as a suggestion, I don't know if it is centrally located or not, but I would suggest Table Rock Lake. It is a beautiful BIG lake in beautiful country. You can camp, cabin, and even nice lodges and resorts. Being next to Branson, it has all the amenities you could imagine. Silver Dollar City for the kiddies, shopping for the ladies, and world class (family style, not Vegas style) entertainment for all.

Table Rock Lake is in Southwest MIssouri on the Arkansas border. Google Branson MO and you will get an idea of what is out there.John,

Southern Vermont... Prolly won't be making a trip to GA with the Doo. Heck, it was 1/2 tank of gas in the truck to get it serviced, and that's only 2 hrs away. Towing would cost a fortune!
