I am trying to perform 100 maint and lubricate impeller shaft.
I have removed impeller nut, which judging from the looks had never been removed during any of the previous services.
Not wanting to start banging on impeller I am at loss on how to get it off the shaft. I do not understand the purpose of the two indentations on sides of surface just outside the shaft.
I am trying heat and penetrant while I wait for replies
