Hello all!!
I have been using this forum for little odds and ends and I never got to the point to introduce myself.
I am somewhat new to the sea-doo boats. I have a 2004 Speedster 310. I love it. Few little issues with performance, but overall the speedster is a great ride.
I too am doing an audio upgrade. I have done plenty in I/O boats and v-ride inboards. I am just new to the rotax.
So i have a few questions or advice.
First lets start at the main point. The strator. Does anyone know what kind of output this typically has for the rotax 155hp engines?
Next to the battery. i am looking to do a dual battery install. I want to do a battery isolator to keep the sound equipment separate from the rest of the system. Battery all1/2/off switch. Next use a capacitor for the amps to get the full capacity. THen have an onboard charger for when i wear the system out for a few hours. So to the questions. What battery switch is an easy replacement for factory switch in the rear? Where have people added a second battery? Anyone have a suggestion on where to put the onboard charger tucked neatly away?
Lastly, I have replaced my stock speakers with Alpine SPR-M700 (or m70 - whichever the coaxial ones). Getting ready to purchase amp for 2-12" Type R Alpine Subs. I really did not want anything expensive, just wanted some functional. Now, free-air to me is out of the question. I know it can be ok, but making an enclosure is where its at. I would like to know where some people have placed subs. I am ALL about a stealth look. I love when something like that just creeps up and just blows the heck out of some of those big wakeboard boats (i know it may not be ideal, but it would be fun!)
Any help that anyone would like to give...PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES - they are worth 1000 words! If people have links to other posts or sites then I would live to see them.
Oh yea, if you know some key areas where i should not cut or some good places to anchor stuff (amps, batteries, capacitors, sub enclosures, etc.)
Thanks to all in advance!!
Can anyone tell me what these two fuses go to? my 30A is blown on one of my engines. What is not working??

I just recently added a 2nd battery in my challenger, used a perko switch. Am going to install just one 10" sub by the passenger seat.

I used a combiner 100 from Yandina in my last boat. It supplied some of the charging from the engines over to both batteries. Very easy to install and works well but slow-It did not keep up with the what I drew from the batt but I had 3 amps hooked up. It divides the load from the "chassis" batt over to the 2nd, this keeps from over-working the magneto, or whatever the chrging system is called...
