Hi to all I have a SeaDoo speedster that I am having issues with acceleration I was deployed to Iraq for a year so unfortunatly the boat had to sit for over a year and a half and I did not prepare the boat for storage as well as I should have. the boat idles fine however when I throttle up it chokes, I am almost positive that it is a fuel filter or perhaps fuel pump problem. any input would be appreciated....
thanks in advance
Linda

First of all, welcome back and thank you for your service and sacrifice.
The typical first step in troubleshooting I see is have you replaced the plugs?
The other question that comes to mind, is how much gas was in the boat when it sat that long, and did it have stabilizer in it? Since octane diminishes over time without the stabilizer it might just be bad gas. You might try siphoning as much out as possible and replacing with high octane to see if that makes a difference.

Yeah I would think it is fuel related or spark plugs. Try new plugs and see if it runs. How much gas is left in it?

I left the Seadoo with about a half tank of fuel with stalizer mixed, I appreciate the help I will change the plugs and see if that resolves the issue. I am so excited to be back in the states and I'm really ready to hit the water.......
