Anybody been able to disconnect the dess on a Speedster 150
When you push the stop button the dess keeps bipping at you. VERY annoying when you stop the engine to pick up a skier and you have to disconnect the lanyard all the time.
No the boat is not stolen. I have only just bought it.
Thanks Pete

This is something that use to drive me nuts on our 180 Challenger when we were stopped too, but I am not sure if there is away to just turn off this "beep" reminder. You might check with your dealer to see if there is a program that might allow them to turn this off. Keep us posted if you find out anything because I am sure there are many others looking for the same information.

Remove knurled ring from buzzer under dash and disconnect buzzer plug from wiring harness
![Posted Image](http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee232/kpracing12/Seadoo/P1002470.jpg)
Cut purple wire (power wire) and solder 2 new wires in line.

I used brass electrical single screw connectors and silconed sealed them.
Install spade terminals on the end of the wires.

Mount a waterproof on / off switch in the dash and connect the spade terminals the the switch. Reconnect the buzzer to the wiring harness.

Now you can turn off the annoying buzzer but if needed turn it on for all the warnings
