Does anyone put their boat on to the shore/beach? If so, do you just drive at it and then shut-off? How bad does this scratch the hull? I heard of one guy who would carry a piece of artificial turf with him to drive the boat onto........

I would suggest if you beach your DOO a lot to install one of these.

Do you think using the roll-on bed liner would work - a cheaper alternative? If you tape up the area real well to delineate the area to be painted (to be beached) - would it work?

Seems like it would but I am not sure how it would look.

I put mine on the beach all the time. I dont run it to far up. I just come in at about 20mph shut if off about 40ft from the beach coast in. Dont go to fast just put the nose on. When you ready to leave I just swing the noes around and push off. Dont do what I did. One beach I go to The tide came down and you guessed it stuck not bad just had to work at it for about 40 min. Just make sure you have about 2 of 3 ft. stern keep a eye on it you will be fine. No big scraches but in sure its does make some. I think I will try the turf or carpet. Thankx for that tip.
