Hi all,
I have a problem with the boat, i'll try and start with the history!
It was stored for a month at the beginning of the season and went off happily running nicely to a yard where i'm told it was stored on a trailer and covered. and when it caame back there was next to no oil in the engine and a fair amount of water in the engine bay up to around the sump pan and wouldnt start. A collegue of mine decided it was the plugs which he changed and we attempted to get it going, still playing up, while cranking it would fire a cyl then go back to cranking, the 2 etc... anyway we got it going eventually but managed to cream the oil by him turning the hose on too soon, great, a few oil changes later we got the water out and put it in the water to idle for a while, i figured after about 10 mins without a hitch i would stop it and check the oil for any signs of water, all good, so tried to restart it and the starter decided to click and not turn over, turned out to be oil in cyl 1 hydraulically locking the engine, so sucked that out and ran it up again. now as soon as the engine hits app 2500-3000 rpm theres plumes of grey/blue smoke pouring out the back and the engine dies.
has anyone had anything similar and or could point me in the direction of a decent oil circuit diagram, as i am thinking its either head gasket(probably) or as these are supposed to be dry sumps and have 2 oil pumps, supply and scavenge, maybe the scav pump is not returning the oil to the resevoir and over filling the sump? if i'm right in assuming thats how the system works!

Unfortunately I haven't run into anything similar to this. We do however have a shop manual available if you have an active SDSB Club subscription that might get you pointed in the right direction, http://seadoosportbo...er-shop-manual/. Please keep us posted if are able to determine what is going on, thanks!
