My 05 sportster lost thrust when running about 55mph. No warning lights or beeps came from the instrumentation panel. The engine still runs fine at idle but do notice a loud noise like soething is broken. The boat was able to drive back to the ramp. I don't see anything in the prop/pump. The boat has 29hrs and all service done at the local seadoo dealer. Is this the dreaded supercharger problem??? PLEASE HELP! How much would it cost to have it rebuilt???

Did it lose thrust or RPM? Does the engine seem to be running OK, revs up alright, but the boat just doesn't move well in the water? Or are you dealing with no throttle reponse and a definite noise from the engine? If the engine seems to be running OK, it could be pump bearings. That would give you a radically loud noise esp. out of the water.
