My wife, and her lovable chesticles, are not very appreciative of our Challengers bounciness in chop. I've heard of what I think is called a place diverter which is supposed to help keep the boat a bit more level in chop but am looking for real live reviews of this solution. Anyone out there have it installed? How much? How hard to install? Any other solutions?

If you want an opinion from someone that owns one but does not sell them, I can tell you from experience that I feel this is the only real solution to the design flaw from Seadoo. We got tired of constantly moving people around to balance the boat. It would also handle completely different depending on fuel level. All this is now taken care of by our Place Diverter. I have been wanting to write a full review with installation pictures and will now make it a priority. Hopefully I will post more info in the next few days.

I have not forgotten about you. My instalation pics have not been located so I will try to take some more next time we get the boat out. We use a trim switch mounted under the steering wheel that sticks out to the side like a turn signal switch. It makes adjusting the trim as easy as a quick touch up or down. This way you can keep up with the ever-changing water conditions and stay in the throttle.

I was going to and then I remembered this post on another forum that really helped me. It is not a Sea-Doo but should give you a better idea of what it will take to install the Place Diverter on your boat. I had to build a custom mounting plate for the hydraulic pump but everything else from this post was very similar. This even has a picture of my steering wheel mounted trim switch.

Yes,our system works awsome.It costs 600.00 and is easy to install.If you have any problems putting we are here to help you.It will be a new boat.

I should take the time to post that,being we make it,but our focus has been on our web site.Being a small corp. we have been doing alot to improve our product line,including the mer trim system,and building our inventory,in the off season.Thanks for the good words,we will continue to be here for help,and improvements,to your hobbies..Ski ya later,PDC

Below is a pic of where I mounted the pump. Like the instructions say, this is the hardest part of the installation. I removed the battery and built a custom rack using the same holes to mount it. I did have to go to the local FASTENAL to purchase metric socket head screws that were long enough. The battery/pump mounting plate is fabricated out of a cellular PVC product called Certainteed Restoration Millwork, which is like working with wood but never rots, splits or cracks.
