Whats the easiest way to remove the thermostat from my 180 challenger? I could use all the tips I can get since I'm new at this.

Have you downloaded the shop manual yet? It should be able to point you in the right direction - http://seadoosportbo...er-shop-manual/
Keep us posted and let us know if you have trouble locating it.

Thank you I've located and removed the thermostat and tested in boiling water, it opens fine. However my husband was advised to replace the thermostat with one that opens sooner. I'm looking for some further advice/information on this if anyone can offer me some. Thanks.

Have you identified the part number yet - if not this would be your first step. Once you have a part number you should be able to get one ordered from World of Powersports, http://www.worldofpo...eadoosportboats or your local dealer. Keep us posted.
