I just bought a 2007 Challenger with 6 hours for $12k in very good shape. First jetboat/boat.
Could use quick summary of what to do before/after using it. I have had jetskis for 30 years and used to flushing engine after every use, rinsing off everything, applying WD40 on all metal including motor.
So what about this boat, especially when in salt water environment.

I was planning on reading book, but quick step by step would be useful. I heard WD40 a mistake in past, messes up rubber hoses. Just found out that motor has internal cooling (radiator and coolant??)...need to fill regularly?
Can/should I slightly rinse motor, then spray with ?
Anyone ever use they SaltAway product...maybe good on monthly basis if always near beach?
Thanks.
