Over the last 2 weeks or so my boat (2006 SeaDoo Sportster 155) has worked OK, but each time I connect the lanyard to the DESS, the beeps have gotten progressively quieter, to the point that I can hardly hear them now, when they were too loud previously? Any ideas? The boat starts fine so I don't think it's a worn battery...
That being said, my boat used to go 40-45 MPH, now it seems to be limited to 35 MPH....according to spec it should do 55 MPH....different issue or perhaps related?
Lastly, I heard a buzzing/rattle when I turned hard to one side, so when I pulled it out of the water, I checked underneath, and the Pump Grate had one of the 2 tines broken, but still completely there, just severed on one end and then bent towards the other tine....can't imagine what would do this since I didn't hit anything....would this cause the boat to lose speed (as I assume it is the cause of the rattle sound)...
I would appreciate any and all comments....
