Well I took my 2000 Speedster in over the weekend to get winterized ($101.50 so it wasn't too bad, I know I could of done it myself but I just didn't have the time), the dealer called me back and said while he had my boat he looked it up and found that 2 recalls were needed to be done. The first recall he said was something to do about the throttle possibly sticking and the second one was to do with the barings on the trailer (he said he had to make sure my trailer was the correct model for the recall though). He said he was going to go ahead and take care of them. I told him to go ahead on the throttle recall but I had already replaced the barings on my trailer 2 months ago because one of the barings shot out on the way to the lake so just leave those as is because they are brand new and have waterproof seals on them already. One question though if my trailer is the right trailer model for the recall should Sea doo re-imburse me that money since I already replaced the barings out of my pocket? Also does anyone have any info on these recalls or heard of these recalls on this boat or just know a general place where I can look up Sea doo recalls so that I can read up these? Thanks!
P.S. - I found the recall on the possible throttle sticking problem:

This is just a quote from what I posted over on JetBoating.net:

Well I just got off the phone with Sea Doo trying to get some information on which trailer model the recall was on and I found out that it was the Rivalair trailers that came with the 2000 Speedsters. So if you have one of these trailers then you need to contact your dealer ASAP to get the recall taken care of so that you don't have baring go out while you pulling your boat down the road. This is what happened to me and why I had to replace my barings before I even found out about the recall. The recall is for the wheel barings on the trailer, one of my barings went out about 2 months ago and I replaced them both at the time so mine doesn't really need the recall anymore. My main question for Sea Doo was how would I get my money re-imburse for what I had already spent out of my pocket before the recall was made. The guy at Sea Doo told me that I just needed to provided proof that I had to have the barings replaced and what it cost and then they could come up with a resolution on how to re-imburse me the cost of what it would cost to perform the recall.
