I just did my first oil change on my 150 Speedster 255hp. I notice that I can see the top O-ring under the oil filter cap. It isn't leaking so it seems that the cap is fully seated but I didn't notice if that is as far as the cap went down before I replaced the filter. Can anyone who has changed filters on one of these let me know if you can still see the O-ring when the cap is fully seated?

I would say if you don't have any leaks then you should be good to go but I would keep my eye on it the next couple of outings to make sure it is set.
