Hello everyone, looking for some advice. I'm looking into a 1994 with the twin 657x engines. boat itself is about 8.5 out of a 10 scale.. Heres what he told me, he bought it this winter and replaced one of the engines (took out a aftermarket SBT engine and replaced it with an OEM seadoo engine) one engine runs great, the one he replaced runs good until it gets to operating temperature then stumbles and runs like crap. and when the boat is off gas continues to flow into engine. Sounds like carb float stuck to me, but would a stuck float cause it to stumble when it gets to operating temp? He ran it around Easter to test it out and there has been gas sitting in the engine since, would that have any bad effects to the engine? how are these boats overall for durability, anything I should look out for? (sorry for not posting a proper introduction, i'll head up that way now)

Bad gas can definitely cause some damage, I would recommend getting the bad gas out and put some fresh gas in as soon as possible. Run it again with fresh gas to see how it performs, keep us posted.
These are solid boats, if you take care of it -- it will definitely take care of you. These models of Speedsters were some of the most popular models for SeaDoo and still are today.
By the way welcome to the site!
