I have a 205 utopia with the 200 hp merc. The boat is acting strange. There is no pattern on when it shuts down. This has happened at various speeds and times. The motor sounds great before and after shutdown and there is no warning when this will happen. I can be running across the lake and it is as if you turn the key off and as soon as this happens turn the key and as if nothing happened. I have replaced the ignition switch, the fuel filters,changed fuel,changed 2stroke oil,etc... ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM PLEASE HELP ALMOST WATER TIME??????

It sounds like the engine is being deprived of fuel, have you checked the fuel lines?

First check for any loose wires or connections on your engine and ignition system. It could also be a computer problem.
