Put the boat in the water this weekend with a few weeds and sticks by the boat launch. started fine and putted out to the puget sound. when i gave it a little gas it was fine then when i hit about half throttle it acted like it was on the rev limiter and would not go fast at all. I gave it a lot of gas 3 or 4 times and no difference. tried reverse forward gas idle everything on and off combo's.......no difference. after i almost called the trip off i started it up and perfect........WTF! I have about 46 hours on it and it has never done that before. I guess i just had something stuck in there that just didn't want to come out.

Yeah I would say you have something stuck in there -- same exact symptoms happened to us one time. We limped back to the boat ramp and put the boat on the trailer, once we looked in the grate we found that we had sucked up a baseball cap. Once we pulled the cap out we put the boat right back in the water and everything seemed to be fine. Get under the boat, look in the grate and see if there is anything lodged in there. Keep us posted!
