I am looking to raise my two bucket seats a few inches for better visibility. Has anyone attempted this? If so, please post pictures.
Thank you,

We haven't had much luck on finding a solution for this but here is what some of us do, http://seadoosportbo...allenger-seat/.

I've decided to build a platform 3" tall by stacking three sheets of Certainteed Restoration Millwork that are 1" thick. This is a cellular PVC product that is hard but cuts like wood and will not rot. I will post pictures when available.

So I laminated three 1" pieces of exterior trim boards together, routed and painted to give me the following finished product:

This allows me to see much better without needing to sit on a stack of lifejackets.

Stephen, that looks good!
How did it effect your clearance when rotating the chair? Can you still turn it 180 degrees?
Nice work!

Yes, it still rotates exactly as before. I did make a few extras, so if anyone is interested, just PM me.
Thank you,
