I would like to get more thrust from take off on my 96 challenger for pulling skiers or when I am carrying more passengers, and need to plane out easier. I have already changed the impeller to a different pitch, and it has worked to an extent but I want more. Has anyone done or heard of changing the venturi(jet nozzel) to a different size to achieve this? If so(and if it is even possible), would a smaller or larger venturi achieve this? Any input would be great!!

In essence, changing the impeller is doing what you're asking.
Other than that, the only way to get a better hole shot is to move a larger of volume of water at startup...Only way to accomplish that would require replacing the OEM jet pump with a larger pump and impeller.
There may be some aftermarket pumps available providing this type of performance bump, but the cost may not be worth it.
Keep in mind that doing something like this with no increase in engine performance will greatly reduce your top end speed.
