I currently slalom ski behind a Honda PWC with the 1200 Turbo motor. I weigh 210. It isn't easy, but I can deep water start with a wide ski. My wife and I have been pulling without a spotter recently out of convenience and because it pulls me up easier. It is illegal to pull with a PWC without a spotter in my state so we are ready to move up to a boat. It is legal to pull without a spotter in a boat with the proper mirror. Because of the compact size and light weight, we are leaning toward getting a Sea Doo 150 Speedster with the 215SC motor. I am hoping that the better low-end power of the supercharged motor will pull me up easier but I have no way of knowing for sure. Does anyone have any experience in slalom skiing behind a turbocharged PWC and a 150 Speedster? I would consider the 255hp model if I needed it.

I can slalom ski and wakeboad behind my 150 speedster without problem even with a boat ful of people and the little cooler full of beers and ice. I only have the na 150 and it does the trick well. Never tried skiing behind a pwc as there seems to be little room for beers and equipment.

We have a speedster 150 with 215 hp. No problem pulling 250 lb skiers or two of that weight on a tube either!
