Hello,

I will say that this is probably the only 14.5 ft boat that has enough power for you to wake board off of; and that is actually the reason that i got my challenger. It does not put out the lrgest wake and takes some skill from the driver also (the wake boarder can actually pull the boat around) it is a fun boat to pull friends with. it will help if you get a tower but the little pup-up ski poll works fine for me. you won't be able to do any flips or anyting but you will be able to get a little bit of air. the main problem that i have run into is with the boat being so small there is not realy a good place to store th board. it won't fit in the ski storge in the hull or over the engine storage. I have not tried any type of ballist system but i would think with as light as these boats are and how low the stern already sits in the water that it could not take too much weight; I believe that my challenger is rated at 750lbs (4 people + gear) so remember don't exceide that. Have fun with your hunt and let us know any updates

I have a 07 speedster 150 and for the past 2 years we have used it for wakeboarding. Like the others said. it pulls the boarder up fine just not much wake. The pop up pylon also works fine as well. It takes a bit of a skilled driver as the boarder can pull the boat around easy as well as slow it down substancially. So it takes a lil work with the throttle to keep at speed at all times. This year we got a 24 foot ski boat with a wake tower . Which is good cause I don't have the time to go out on the weekends anymore. My boat has only been out once this year and It wasn't even me that had it.
Because of the small wake the 150 is a much better ski boat than a wake boat. Great for beginners though.
