Hi all,
I ordered a Joystick tower to install on my Challenger 180 2005. Is there anybody that can help me on getting inside the hull beside the consoles? I tried to remove the consoles but there's two screws that I cannot reach and remove on the side panels of these consoles.
Maybe I have to get through the fiber behind the front seats by doing holes, but I'm not too willing about doing holes in the boat. I'm affraid it might affect the rigidity of the boat.
Please somebody help me.
Thank you in advance,
Jon

Did the tower come with any type of instructions?
Unfortunately I don't know any better way to get inside the hull of our boats without cutting holes. Kevin Seeber has mentioned something in regards to this in the past, stating that he wishes that SeaDoo would put the re-enforced steel plates behind the hull regardless if they come with a tower from the factory or not. This definitely would make things a lot easier for those of us that would like to install a tower since we aren't able to get one via SeaDoo if it didn't come with one from the factory.
Not the best solution but if the holes you need to drill are in a decent location, maybe you could install a new pair of speakers to fill the holes once you are done.
