HI all,., My name is Sean, I was big into "doo"s (& hung on Dave's board) but about a year and a half ago I sold my 96 Challenger. I got a doo waverunner for a while but that didnt fill the void. I work full time in Emergency Medical Services, so I work 12 hrs a day but only Mon, Tues & Wen. so I have plenty of time to play. I live in SEPA, Im into snowmobiling & currently have an 03 MXZX 440 race sled. A lifted F350 Superduty & other misc toys, quads etc. Next to join the stable looks to be a 2000 Speedster. Ill know if this is the one the weekend of the 13th.....Some of the toys can be seen here http://community.web.../user/skidoomxz .Hey! Sounds cool. Thanks for the compliments on the site and I am glad that you like it, I plan on keeping the site up! Let me know if you can think of anything that I could do to the site to make it better to try to get some more members over here.

My name is Ludgero (nickname Gerald). I have had Doo waverunners for about 6 years now and after today I will be the proud owner of my first Doo Speedster. I have been in a Yamaha jet boat before but never a Doo, so I hope my Doo experience is remains a great one. I am so excited I can't wait. Oh, one more thing, I love the site. It is really great to have a place to go to and talk about the one thing I enjoy most. Thanks Kevin for keeping up the site.

I feel your pain. I have an NSX and a CBR600 sitting for the past 4 months but today is a nice day so I might just have to take one of them out.Hi Sean and Gerald. Welcome to the gang. You guys that get to use your jets all year round are very lucky. I now have a Corvette, a Speedster, and two small motorcycles resting in the garage untill the snow is gone.

Wow. It seems as if that vette keeps you real busy. Nice job. Do you do all the work yourself? Was the NSX completely stock? I am still in the process of modifiying my NSX but I am more of a show car type guy than a racer. I used to do a lot of racing but I stopped when I had a very very close call against a ZR-1 vette. Let's just say that I am happy I am here today. When you are young, stupid, and have a need for speed it doesn't take much to push you to the extreme. But, don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a race here and there. I should have a site up soon with my NSX and the modifications done. Just to give you an idea of what I have done: cold-air intake, modified ecu, SS headers, Random Technology Cats, RM racing exhaust, bilstein shocks, eibach pro springs, Work wheels, sway bars, strut bars, chasis re-enforcement bar in front, body kit, aerodynamic modified hood and mirrors, etc.. The list goes on but it should be up soon. I am currently in the process of opening up a speed shop. The web site is www.modamotorsports.com. The logo has a picture of my car before the Work wheels (rims) so it looks a lot better now.Cool, I like the looks of those NSX's. I have built up my car quite a bit and take it to a road race coarse several times a year for lapping days. The track is Brainerd International Raceway. It's a 3 mile lap with 10 turns. There is a long straightaway from the pits because they also use this area for the drag races. The straight is almost a mile long from turn 10 to turn 1. Anyhow, last summer during a practice day there was a guy there with an NSX that he had never taken on the track. About halfway through the day he tried to shift from 5th to 6th gear going into turn 1 and missed and either hit 4th or 2nd gear. The back end spun around on him and he went sailing into the ditch spinning all the way. He was very lucky it didn't flip over on him. He did a fair amount of body damage and under damage buy managed to get it running and drove it home. When he got the engine running he had a check engine light so I hooked up my scan tool and pulled the codes and there were some about the vtec system and maf system out of range or something. I think when the engine shoots up to about 10,000 rpm with no push on the gas pedal the pcm sees a problem. Poor guy. I never did run near him because he was in the novice run group and I'm in the experienced group. Do you ever track your NSX? Or autocross? Take a look at some of the mods I've done to my Vette: www.corvetteforum.net/c5/bob86zz4

Choppers are awesome. I would love to get one but I think that would be one toy too many. That is a really nice picture and I have to agree as far as the NSX goes. There is no other car that can make me feel that adrenaline rush on a turn.NSX is a very good car and a complete package for the $$$. My buddy had one and I must say that after riding an R1 for 2 years this is the only car that can bring tingles to my skin when going into the corners!

Michael, yep, you found it. I like this site because it has the best forum software. There is another jet boat site that I just hate the formats of. Not easy to use. '97 Speedster, 14', twin 720's. Great choice. Is this your first jet boat? You will love it. If you plan on using it for skiing much you may want to consider installing the ski pylon option if you don't already have one. It is a little pull up pipe that comes up just behind the middle seat, next to the hatch release. It makes it much better for slalom. The skier won't pull the boat around so much with the rope attached here. I put one on my boat. Easy install. Easier to handle the rope too, getting it in and out of the boat and such.

One last upgrade I want to do is your shifter mod. Looks simple enough- and if it makes shifting easier I'm all for it.
It's finally beginning to warm up here in the South.....
