I know this is an old thread, but I figure someone may know. I'll start a new one if I don't get an answer.
Looks like I'm having the same problem with my 2008 Challenger 230 SE 430hp with about 25 hours on it.
One engine only revs to 6500 while the other is at 8000. I took off the hoses on the Super Chargers and one of the blades spins by hand and the other doesn't.
Is that what happens when the washers go or is there another problem. The dealer has changed my oil twice and I mentioned that it could not be synthetic. He said that it was ok now and used a "blend" , whatever that is.
Ive put about 4 hours on it since I noticed a difference in the operation. Hope that didn't cause more problems.
How difficult is it to replace the washers?
Thanks for any info.
Dave
