I have the same boat as yours tiggerman. Sorry.Man, went to the lake this weekend to take out the boat for the 1st time this year and needed to put the battery back in. Well, needless to say, didn't get to take the boat out. Tiggerman I know you know how to do this. Help me out! Thanks!

The cone part of the tuned pipe has to come out. Loosen the big clamp on the big part of the tuned pipe, and loosen both clamps on the small end. Take the rubber strap off the waterbox (muffler) so it can move a bit. Twist the cone around until it pops out of the tuned pipe and the waterbox. Take the strap loose on the battery, and so on and so forth. It is still going to be a tight fit to slide the battery thru the opening you just made. Here is a pic of the piece you are taking out. The cone is the purple part with the small rubber hose connected to it. It's big on one end and little on the other. Good luck!
