I am guessing that you need 2 ends because you have 2 engines?I made the adapter for my boat from hose parts- I screw a 'y' onto the garden hose, and I made 2 short male-female extensions to screw into the fittings on the transom first, then screw them on the 'y'.
I was thinking that I could do this myself but I wasn't sure if it was a different connection or not. I thought I remembered seeing the connection under the rear storage hatch near the back corner. I will check my Manual and stuff tonight and see if I can fire the Old thing up....!! Anything else I need to do beofre firing it up out of the water? Do I need to make sure its not in gear?
thanks..........

The flush fitting you're talking about should be a standard female hose coupling, at least they are on my twin Speedster. I don't know about the Mercs....

You don't need an adaptor. On the aft Starboard side of your boat, under the engine compartment cover, is a female end that will take the male end of your garden hose. It currently has a closed connector in it attached to a chain that you'll unscrew. It's easier if you use those quick connect things that you can buy for your garden hoses at "the Tire", but you don't need it.
Attach it, turn your garden hose on full, and start it up. Make sure you only run it at idle speed. It'll make a lot more noise than it would if it was in the water and be prepared for lots of smoke!!

On the Rotax engines, it is opposite: Crank up first, THEN turn on the water...Attach it, turn your garden hose on full, and start it up. Make sure you only run it at idle speed. It'll make a lot more noise than it would if it was in the water and be prepared for lots of smoke!!
I learned 2 things today..
