I have access to a marina slip and I was thinking about leaving my '96 Speedster at the dock instead of pulling it out after every playtime session.
I was nervous at first about the flapper scupper valve that comes on the 1996 and earlier boats, but I upgraded it to the ball-float valve provided in a SeaDoo recall campaign. Now I'm confident that it won't sink at the dock from a leaky scupper valve.
Anyone foresee any problems leaving it in the water. (It's fresh water, not salt, BTW).

Not really, as long as all the seals around thru hull fittings and your driveshaft seals work good. I see no problem at all. Do you have a link to that recall campaign?

Just the slime that is associated with leaving a boat in the water.

Yeah. I don't want the slime to be so bad I have to paint the bottom, though.

Just jump in every now and then and take a sponge with you... wash, rinse, repeat if necessary!!
