Hey all, New to site and to boating in GA. Live by Lake Lanier. Just bought a 1997 Challanger 1800 w/twin 85hp. So far... I love the jet and think I will never want a prop again!

Just picked up my first SeaDoo Jet boat. It is a 1995 Speedster and I got it and the trailer for the unbelievable price of $0.00. Initial inspection at the prior owners house suggested that both of the engines were siezed. Had it running 2 hours after I got it home. Starboard engine was a stuck piston, and the port engine had a siezed jet pump. I own 3 other SeaDoos, a 94XP, 96XP, and 97XP. Also have 2 Kawis, a 87 300SX and a 95 750SXi. New to the forum, but not to the sport. I am also the owner of Affordable SeaDoo and Jetski Repair in Arlington, WA. Looking fforward to finding some parts I may need for this project.

Hi Gang: I've had my 97 Challenger for 5 years now and still enjoy it as much as I did when I got it.
Live in Wisconsin , Waukesha County. I'm 5 , but sure don't feel it ,especially on the water.
I do have one question, does any body know where I can get rear seat covers? Really don't have the talent to reapolster them.

hi, we have recently bought a 2005 challenger a few months ago, first time boat owners loving it so far, we are still in the learning phase of boating but going with the flow, from the beautiful emerald coast in florida

welcome to the site, sounds like you have a lot of knowledge that you might be able to share with the community. Is this your first jet boat?; i also had a ski (97 GTX still own) before the boat and I enjoy the boat so much more then the ski now

Welcome to the site. I believe that there is an e-bay seller who sells covers but if you can get them off you could take them to a marine apolster and they could probably do it for you; that is what I had to do when i had my old Challenger 1800

Hello folks. I just took delivery yesterday of my new 2009 Challenger SE with the 215hp engine (don't know if it's the SC or SCIC). Anyway, it hasn't been in the water yet as I want to get it waxed first. I'm a river rat and like to run on rivers in Missouri and Illinois so I appreciate the 12 inch draft. I had a 16' SugarSand jetboat before. I do have several questions about little things such as the fire extinguisher which I will ask in the proper forum. I'm looking forward to learning from and enjoying my visits to this site.

Hi i'm from ARUBA just bought a sportster LT 2002 and
i'm trying to find out how to set the timing for this boat since i just bought
the parts that was broken and forgot to mark the timing when i took
it apart.

Also instead of using the 2 stroke tank can i just add 2 stroke in the
gasoline and take the whole 2 stroke tank out ?

Any information would be highly appreciated,

Hey everyone,

I'm Kyle. I've always wanted to own a boat and now that I'm stationed in Key West I knew this was the perfect opportunity to get one. I found a '99 Speedster SK someone was selling at a fair price. It certainly needed work (upholstery, minor wiring, blower fan, tune up) but I think that was the greatest appeal to it since I'd get to learn and work on something new! These two-stroke ROTAX motors were a learning curve for me but I think I've got the hang of them. Now she breezes through the water and leaves the other boats in her wake. I HATE having do boat in salt water though, I know its the worst you can do for your boat and I can't wait to move to some fresh waters somewhere.

This site is great! I've been a member for a little while but haven't stopped in to stay HI to everyone yet. Looking to buy Hydro-Turf soon, will post some more pics along with the ones I'm adding on here.

I've just bought a fixer upper '97 Challenger from Rancho Cordova and I'm getting it crated up and shipped over. Would appreciate some info on what to do for improved performance - will start with the Hydro Turf!

Just purchased a 2002 Sportster le 2 days ago, it's still raining so I haven't gotten to test it out yet.
I live in western Florida and we have a lot of water to explore.
Hope to find some manuals for this boat somewhere.
