I was a little disappointment to find out that I would have to purchase another component to actually take advantage of Sirius radio. We also don't have the marine antenna mounted anywhere on the boat so this is one other thing we would need to purchase to pick up a signal, http://www.turtlemar...pearesra25.html.

You know I have found the "Sirius Ready" portion of our radio very interesting, we tried get a satellite signal when we first brought the boat home and little did I know it is hardly "Sirius Ready". It seems it needs another component to truly be "Sirius Ready", http://www.turtlemar...dlp2500rtl.html. Did yours come with this?

No wonder I was able to get the sirius radio # but I could not enter the code! I'd check and let you know. If I don't have it- I sure need that component. DARN! I thought it's also READY. Oh well, good thing I have a portable XM radio. I hooked it up using the AUX input. I just don't like all the cables sticking out! Better than nothing, right? And yes, much better than spending $$ for the sirius box plus antenna!
