Hey,
I just hit a deadhead in the water with my boat. I haven't pulled it out to examine. The engine sounded like it was stuck for a couple seconds then it returned to normal. Should I be worried?

I would definitely give it a thorough inspection before you take it out next time, do you see any visible damage?

I pulled the boat out and there appears to be a small chip. How would I go about a fix that chip in the fiberglass?

You should be able to order a kit from Gelcote International and repair it, http://www.gelcote.c...php?cPath=21_24. I did an article up on it a while back, let me dig it up.

Awesome! Thank you. I don't think I need to do anything that extensive. The chip is on the underside (you can't see it) and it goes right to the membrane underneath.
