My fuel gauge also quit working, I ordered a new fuel baffle...just have to get it installed. Hopefully this will fix the problem, I have heard there is a fuse that goes bad in these things that causes the gauge to quit reading.

I just need to get some more of the honey-do list cleared off and a clear day on the weekend. No one has anything exciting going on? A couple weekends ago I pulled my battery and spark plugs out, looks like I am going to replace them before boating this year.

As I remember I have a gauge or two that are not working. First I'll have to put the batteries back in and just give the whole boat a good inspection. Then a little troubleshooting and it's back to the computer to find parts and new goodies for this year.
Who am I kidding? That weekend is still three months away at least. What I am really looking forward to is a warm day on the lake with the boat gently rocking and a cold Corona. The Islanda has the nicest little wetbar on the water.

the weather here in florida good already a little windy sometimes but almost there a few more weeksI'm sure my fuel guage dosent work properly either. Stays on full most all day when it gets to half its time to trailer it caue it has only 3 gallons left. hasn't worked properly from day 1... also gettin ready to install the new decals on the starboard side...Just not looking forward to removing the scratched up ones. beings its winter here I have been working on putting a snowmobile engine on my golfcart. as soon as that is done its to the boat I go. I'm goin to the Bud shootout this coming weekend. I'm sure the warm florida weather will get me in the mood for boating season...

I would like to take the boat in to have the fuel gauge and hour meter fixed. Hopefully, the software patch has been distributed throughout the country.
I would also like to add a keel guard (I think that is what its called) to the front as I travel in very shallow water.
Looking forward to hitting the gulf this weekend and getting some long beach/dolphin runs in. However, the last couple of days have been moderate chop to choppy and my 15' boat just can't play in that. I don't mind the flying, but getting slapped down on the landings are pretty rough.
