well i flushed both engines, i didnt want to let them run too long, did one at a time, and they seem fine...guess i will find out when i actually put it in the water again!Yep, one at a time. No need for both at the same time. Running just one lets you hear noises that are unique to each engine if there are any. Any time you hook the hose up to the engine to run water through it, the engine needs to be running.

oh yes there was plenty of water coming out on each side when i did them...so maybe it was something else that caused it? maybe freak accident? maybe it wont happen again i hope!If you hooked up the hose to the flush fitting and cranked her up and ran water thru it, you should have seen water coming from the pump outlet thru the nozzle. That would tell you that you had water flow and no obstruction....

it started immediately, then after we ran it a while it stopped...Did it start immediately or after you ran it a while?
