I have just purchased a 2007 Sea Doo Utopia. It is awesome!
My only complaint so far is the water intakes getting plugged with weeds so easily. It has happened several times and I have had varying degrees of success with getting them unplugged while in the water. I have let it set for a few minutes, varying the throttle several times in reverse and the tried and true method of getting in the water and reaching underneath to pull out the offending weeds.
Are there any aftermarket tools or other methods out there?
I am planning to buy a boat lift so I can easily pull them out while docked, but it would be a pain in the but to have to dock it everytime and who knows if it happens at a different lake. Plus I like to fish and dont want to have to go swimming in April or May if I dont have to.
Also, has anyone had any luck finding and/or mounting a trolling motor to the Utopia. That would help out the weed plugging when fishing!
Thanks in advance.
