As stated in my last post I'm a newb to seadoo's and jet boats in general. I have a question. When i Purchased my boat a few weeks ago I originally wanted the SC speedster 150. But the dealership I got my 155 hp from didn't have the 215 in stock and i'm inpatient so i got the 155 instead. "fourth of july weekend and needed something" Did I make a good decision? I have heard a lot of negative about the sc on the 215. but not much on the 155... Is that because there are not many of us 155 hp speedster owners? Does anyone have any tips on what to do to keep it goin on strong? any ideas to get more top end speed? Thanks again

Both engine are very similar! The only problem with the 215ph engine is the supercharger. They frequently broke... If you want more reliability you have to replace the ceramic washers by metal washers and after it supposed to be reliable! The 155hp is also more fuel economic than the 215ph engine. 4Tec engine are very reliable engine, they have a life time around 1500 hours..
