when i was pressure washing my speedster yesterday i thought the buzzing sound was cool from the water spinning the star on the back that tells the mph and i guess it couldnt take it because it broke and flew off! the shaft is still there that the star goes around but the black star itself is nowhere to be found after it bounced of the ground and hit my leg! is this piece very expensive? does anyone know where to get it? its gonna suck not to know an approximate mph this weekend!
broke my speedo piece in back help!

Looks like its gonna run you around $100.00 from worldofpowersports.com, IF they can even get it. Better idea: run to Walmart and get a cheap GPS.....

That price was the speed sensor assembly.
Look here: http://www.angelfire...electrical.html
He has a kit listed as 'Kit-paddlewheel-for speed sensors' with a part number of 295500108. Price is $22.95.... beats the $100 hands down if it will repair your speedo....
