Have any of you replaced the dual battery setup that is standard on some of the Seadoo boats like the 1996 Speedster? I plan on docking my boat year round and would like to switch to a single large marine battery if possibile instead of the dual smaller 12V batteries.

I replaced the twin batteries in a 96 Speedy I had...simply remove the plastic lip from the two trays where the trays are closest together. A regular 24 size marine/RV battery fits perfectly in the one new tray made up of the two old trays. Clear as mud?
