I have a 2000 sportster le and is overheating. It only overheats in the water. When I hook up a hose to it, it runs just find. Please help.....I assume there is a clog somewhere, but where do I begin????

Have you checked to make sure the area that sucks up the water while in the water is not clogged? You just might not be getting good water cosumption when your boat is in the water. When you run a hose through it you are forcing the water in.

I found that the hose going into the block was plugged. I managed to flush it out and now the boat doesn't over heat any more.
