I just purchased my Sportster 4-tec 2 weeks ago. The Salesperson assured me you can purchase a wake tower afterwards from sea doo much like on the scic. After speaking with Sea Doo's customer service line they said they do not recommend putting a wake tower on unless it was factory installed, they never said they didn't sell the parts, I'd assume they would sell it, but said that adding one may void the warranty to the hull. I purchased an extended warranty also, so I'd hate to see that go down the drain but really want a tower and being that I was told I could add one I was a big selling point for me.

Has anyone added or know of any info. regarding a Sea Doo or aftermarket brand wake tower to a sportster? Also does anyone know of or have had any experience with warranty issues after adding something like this. I'd hate to see sea doo say they won't cover something totally unreleated to a wake tower if I add one, just using that as a loophole to get out of the warranty coverage.

check this post, i just put on a factory tower on my sportster scic and it's awesome. out 2 times and it works much better & i saved over half on factory installed price.

The dealer told me this about my 06 speedster as well. I wanted to order a tower a couple of months after I got my boat, but they said SeaDoo told them that they will not sell one because they reinforce the hull when they come from the factory with them on. I have seen many people order one for their speedster just have to ask somebody where they got theirs from. I want the stock tower because it fits on the rails of the speedster and looks great. I am going to try and get on this winter.

I think boat would look better with tower.

Where did you get your speedster from. I think SeaDoo could possibly void a hull warranty if you add a tower but don't think they could void an engine warranty. I would love to have a tower to pull things. I bought a mega slice tube, and a bungee rope and bent my ski pylon after using it. Dealer gave me a new post, and I stopped using the bungee rope and haven't had any more problems, but the speedster needs a better place to hook tubes to since it doesnt have a tow ring.

Let me know if you find someone to get a tower from.

Where did you guys get your stock towers from? Looking for a tower for my 06 speedster. What dealer did you get your tower from Firehawk. Wanting to try and locate one before summer runs out. Thanks for any help guys.
