that's the part i forgot, i do lift the shelf open tooGas fumes are heavier than air .They will settle to the lowest point.They have to be forced out. Unless you are removing the shelf unit there is probably not enough airflow in the bottom of eng compt. I always vent when stopped for any length of time . I have seen boats explode and burn to the waterline . It leaves a lasting impression. Be sure to test fuses/connections with a test light. Check at blower mtr too in case mtr is bad.
