I went to use my 2005 Challenger 180 the other day and as I turned on the blower switch, nothing happened. I've checked all the fuses that I can find under the drivers seat and in the engine compartment and don't know what else to do. Have I missed the blower fuse in the rear somewhere? Can the boat be started without blowing off the gas fumes? Any advice would be appreciated

the first start of the day, i open the engine cover to vent off fumes but after that i don't use the blower unless it sits for a while. not sure if that violates the rules? i have an 06 sportster scic.

Gas fumes are heavier than air .They will settle to the lowest point.They have to be forced out. Unless you are removing the shelf unit there is probably not enough airflow in the bottom of eng compt. I always vent when stopped for any length of time . I have seen boats explode and burn to the waterline . It leaves a lasting impression. Be sure to test fuses/connections with a test light. Check at blower mtr too in case mtr is bad.

I only use the blower when im starting the engine at the begining of the day, or if its been off for a long time( more than 15 mins). is that fine or should i be using it more ??

that's the part i forgot, i do lift the shelf open too
