Hello all!!
i have just bought an challanger 2000 -00, this is complete new for me whith "water jet", always had boats whit mercengines sterndrives.
Anyway here is my first question, when i running on low RPM, from 0-5 mph, the engine are smoking really much, lot of "2 stroke" smoke, if i goin up from 10-40 there is no smoke that i can see,is this normal??????.Question nr 2 is there anyone here that have the manual for the engine here on the board, i live in Sweden and none of the marineshops here have a clue what im talking about when i tell them what kind of engine i have....
Best Regards

Hello Sweeden from Ireland. Happy Boating in one of your 180,000 lakes!!
There is always a bit of smoke out of mine anyway as the exhausts are a little above the water in idle.
as for a manual, try the database section of this site, that might help you.
Thanks,
Brian

We no longer host the manual on the site, as it was in violation of Mercury's copyright. I will look to see if I still have the 240 EFI manual on my local machine-Hello Sweeden from Ireland. Happy Boating in one of your 180,000 lakes!!
