I'm like Geeboy, I want to turn the rideplate up for a faster ride but my wife wants it down for more comfort. I'm thinking trim tabs and a raised ride plate might solve all problems.
Any thoughts??

I have thought about trim plates before, but it doesn't look feasible on my 97. There's not alot of room on the transom due to the twin jetpumps. It also would tend to make reverse non-existant on my boat. If you have a Merc boat, I hear alot of good things about the Place Diverter....

That is a good price! Unfortunately, I just bought Bennett M80's on Ebay. Problem is on the starboard side of the transom is the scupper valve and the speedo wheel leaving no room to install the plates for the trim tabs. There's a gallery picture on the "big board" of someone who installed a Lenco system. It looks like he cut out the hinge plate around the scupper. I've emailed Bennett with a picture to see if they have any suggestions/solutions.
Has anyone here installed trim tabs on their Speedster??
