just a note about batteries -

found a neat bit of kit recently - its called a pro-starter 2, its about 8 x 2 x 2 inches and is deisgned to get your battery started should your girlfriend flatten it listening to cd's, or you flatten it trying to start your motor. it comes fully charged - keep it on your boat - if your battery goes plug it in your 12v acc socket - leave for ten mins then off you go -

Flatten the battery? Ha ha...u know, I had a girlfriend that used that term and I kept busting her chops about it. Now it makes sense tho'..her parents were from England!

We here on these shores say "Dead Battery"...but, then you guys probably find that funny. My uncle lives in England, just outside London...been there since 1975. I'll have to tell him to watch out for the crazy "Ba$tard" driving the yellow boat
