Took my 06 speedster out for the second time Sunday. We were cruising around for most of the day taking it easy breaking it in. I was cruising along about 4500 rpm on both engines when both of the tachs froze. I throttled back but they stayed at 4500. I stopped the boat, pulled the lanyard off, and the tachs fell to zero. Put it back on cranked the boat and they worked fine again. About 10 minutes later they both froze again, so I kept driving, and in about 30 seconds they started working again. I am going to mention this to the dealer when I take it in for the 10 hour service but wondering if any of you have experinced this and if so what is the problem. Thanks a lot. By the way, I LOVE THE DOO, I AM SOO HAPPY WITH THE WAY IT RIDES AND DRIVES.

I would say this is a warranty issue, have the dealer inspect them really well to see if they can replicate the problem. They should be able to resolve the problem before your warranty expires.
Glad you are enjoying your doo!
