Hi All,
I am looking for a good source for winterizing info for my Islanda. Took it to the dealer last time and they broke more stuff than they fixed... then lied about testing the systems before they gave it back to me. (In for service twice and both times it had things that worked when it went in not work when I picked it up. I like the boat but the dealers in my area suck for boat expertise.)
I am keeping it in a heated garage this winter so nothing can freeze.
Fogging the intakes with oil is only part of the solution. I am most concerned about water that remains in the internal engine jacket and how to get some antifreeze into it or completely drain the block. Would it really be as simple as putting antifreeze mixture into the flush hose connection? Will that get to the jacket before it runs out the impeller?
Thanks for any help.

I keep my doo in my garage and all I do it put stabilizer in the fuel to winterize it. The first year I got my doo I had the dealer winterize the boat, cost me a $110 and I didn't believe it was worth it. It never really gets too cold here in GA, I usually pull the doo out in the driveway at least once during the winter, hook the hose up to it and crank it up just to get the engine running. This has worked for me.
