Has anyone run into this...during winterizing I've taken out way less lube than I put in. I would say maybe half. There was some water in the lube as well because of the milky colour at the end. Is this something to worry about? Should I have the dealer replace a seal. I haven't noticed a leak. Any thoughts?

if your loosing oil and not seen a leak then you must be burning it???? at a guess - if theres water in your oil then i guess this must mean a seal has gone - i would ask a dealer to take a look just for the peace of mind....

There should never be any water in the gear lube, period. Let your dealer have a look.Has anyone run into this...during winterizing I've taken out way less lube than I put in. I would say maybe half. Thanks for the input. I got hold of a shop manual. It recommends periodic checking of the level and for contamination (read water). I will look at the stator lube after the first 5 hours this season before I take it to the dealer. For piece of mind I'll give the nearest dealer a call to hear what they have to say.
Cheers
