Is winter over yet????
4 more months before I can have the DOO back in the water.
Any comments on if I did not fog my motor? Stabilized the fuel and was going to do the rest another day, then it was winter. I keep the boat in my underground parking and it does not get below freezing, I really want to fog the motors but what a mess of smoke if I do it inside.
cheers
Chris

That is what I am screaming!
I think you should be okay as long as where you are keeping your boat is fairly warm. I keep mine in the garage during winter, I usually just add stabilizer to the fuel and that is it. When I bring it back out of the garage after winter usually starts right up on the 2nd or 3rd attempt.

what is the fuel stabilizer you talk about - my doo is in a heated garage and i dont do anything as i take it out through the winter where possible - it may be laid up for 4 weeks max but thats it - is it worth stablizing modern fuels???????
The boat that just passed you was a seadoooooooooooo.

Stabilizer is just put in to conserve the fuel from going bad, but I think you are right with modern fuels I question if you even need to doo this anymore.

It's going to be plus 8 in Toronto today, I think I will drag the DOO outside and fog it. I am feeling too guilty about not doing it.
For those of you that can get out over the winter I am jealous.
