Where can I download the 98 Speedster Manual?

For example:
What does the gas switch really do? I turned the battery on, and without they key plugged in the gas gauge does not register. I figured that if I hold down the gas switch on the dash, it might register- but nope. If I plug the key in, it registers just fine. Hmmm this is a weird switch.
Weed Remover. Ahh that big thing under the dash. Looks scary, but I am sure it serves a purpose. I bet the manual explains when to use this too :-)
Bimini Top- Does anyone even have one for their Speedster? I finally found a few places on line, but do I have to go with a SeaDoo version instead because of the weird angle of the engine compartment?
Ahh the joys of new owership.
Also I am going to upload some pics when I get a chance. I fianlly got around to isntalling a second battery, voltmeter, depth finder, stereo and 4 speakers, battery 1/2/all switch. This is going to be a good summer.....assuming no mechanical problems.
Thanks,
Jason

He usually has them for around $9.50 and Buy It Now. It should answer your questions about the 98 model: I don't have a gas switch on my 97.
On my boat, I have to put the DESS lanyard on the post to power up the fuel gauge. Other things work without it, such as the blower in the engine compartment and the navigation lights.
I've thought about a bimini top, and I dont think the wierd angle would keep you from getting an aftermarket top to fit.
I'm interested in seeing pics of where and how you mounted your depth finder. Did you get a thru hull transducer or a transom mount?
I bought a depth finder today for real cheap at a local WalMart that is about to move into a supercenter. It is a Humminbird Piranha 3, and I paid $45.00 for it. It has the option to add a water temp probe to it along with the depth finder. They had a few more, along with a portable model and a Piranha 1- all priced at $45.00 each. I never frequented this particular store before, and found that they actually carried the Bombardier 2 stroke oil in gallons or quarts. They also had Quicksilver PWC 2 stroke oil. I never saw that before, only the Quicksilver for outboards. This oil specifically stated for PWC's that specifiy API TC certification, such as the Rotax 2 stroke. The Quicksilver for outboards is a NMMA TWC 3 oil, that Seadoo says NOT to use.
The weed remover thingy controls 2 grates under the boat in the pump intake. They swing down when you pull the handle. They are supposed to catch foreign objects before they get into the pump. When you pull the handle and they swing down, weeds or whatever may be caught in them are supposed to fall free. I've never had to use them.

Tiggerman- thanks for the reply. I will go ahead and take your advice and check ebay. As for the Depth Sounder, it is a Humminbird HDR600. I picked it up for $99 at a local boat store. I'm sure they are less on-line.You can buy the owners guide on eBay from a seller named fzr100.

The 98 Speedster had an accessory socket mounted on the dask to the upper left of the steering wheel. I removed it and placed the Depth Sounder there. Then I moved the accessory adapter to the passangers side to the left of the stereo.
On the left side the stereo is centered, the handle was moved up a few inches, a voltmeter was mounted to the right, and an accessory plug moved ot the left.
I'll get a camera out there and take pics.
