Just figured out a big problem with the Utopia console. It is held down by one or two brackets, and even when they are tight, water may come in through the console into the fuse block module. So when washing down the boat and hosing fresh water to the inside of the glass at the helm, water gets in and causes problems. My boat is actually in the dealer now and told them to seal the console completely with clear silicone.

ust a heads up to everyone out there that may have been having electrical problems (for example, fuses blowing on the main fuse block)...seal the console...

While I love the jet boats; this is typical of the quality control & design issues BRP struggles with. They need to work on consistency & blemishes. I believe no [2] BRP jet boats are identical even if they are the same model. Further I have noticed most jet boats are stored outside while at any dealership; whether they are being marketed for sale or being worked on for the owner. My jet boat stays garaged when not being used. I shudder to think how long it sat outside on the dealers lot before I bought it.
