I know its a little early to start discussing this but...
I used to own a SS Tango with a Merc 175 and did the winterization process myself. I purchase a U185 with a 200 Opti in the spring and after reading the manual, the storage procedure seems a little different. There seems to be a brew of oil, stabilizer, and Quickleen that goes in the water separating filter and a mixture of stabilizer and Quickleen in the gas tank. What I don't see is any information relating to fogging the cylinders. Can anyone with an Opti let me know your procedure? Do you stick with the manual or actually fog the engine also? It seems removing the spark plugs are an issue with the Opti and if it’s not required or if this brew takes care of that, all the better.
Thanks for your input...
