If your dealer is not certified for hull repairs, surely they can offer advice and/or a few people who are. Check out your local telephone directory for fiberglas repair shops. ASK YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY...We have a local used boat dealer who does excellent fiberglas repair (seen it ). Look for someone who actually does repair boat hulls, not showers. Try BOATUS for info on repairing damage.Hit something submerged this w/e and sustained some serious hull damage. Anyone have experience with hull reparirs... are certified dealers certified to do hull repairs?? what should i be looking for in a repair shop????
any and all help appreciated!!

thanks thumper...if the gel coat has been broken make sure it doesnt go back in the water - before you have it repaired ensure its drained to make sure the hull hasnt sucked up to much water through osmosis, otherwise this water can be trapped inside the hull once repaired.
it has been up and draining since the incident..won't put it back int eh water till it's fixed.
thanks again..
